This year was filled with special, new people that came into my life and two of them are Susanne & Piet Payer. I was so touched by the story that Susanne told me a couple of months ago, that I would love to share it with you, especially now, before Christmas, when we all have a bit of time to reflect about others, less fortunate than us. Susanne started about 10 years ago to make one of a kind cards - and the entire sale proceedings are are used for the benefit of Dr. Ruth Pfau’s Lepra – Project in Pakistan.
Each card is handmade, has an arty design and is filled with tiny details and love. It takes Susanne up to 3 hours to make one piece.
Once a year you can buy the cards from a small Christmas market in the 8th District of Vienna, in the Piarist Church / Calasanzsaal (around the corner from Piaristenkeller).
This year it will take place this Sunday, the 15th of December between 10:30 – 11:30 am. The price for one card is only € 3,80.
Hope that you will pass by and buy some, you and your friends will enjoy the noble cause & the cards!
