Yesterday, 25th of November, I had the pleasure and honor to participate at the presentation of the latest issue of
Society magazine.
The magazine was first launched in 1945 and is structured on different interests with diverse themes such as economy, politics, diplomacy, science and culture. It’s an excellent combination of national and international society’s statements and I have to admit that it is the first time I’ve ever seen this magazine concept in Vienna.
This fall/winter issue highlights an interesting theme to me: Romania, my home country. Besides the country presentation made on the editorial page, written by Mag. Gertrude Tauchhammer I also had the great pleasure to read a captivating interview with Her Excellency Silvia Davidoiu, Romania Ambassador to Austria.

The interview was taken by Mag. Tanja Tauchhammer and mainly displays the economical and political relations between Austria and Romania, future visions and interestingly to know that officially there are almost 70.000 Romanians living in Austria (personally, I only know about 10-12 Romanians).

Proud to be Romanian |
The evening has been very enjoyable and warm as the celebration was held in a small circle and we could make new contacts as well enjoy the culinary specialties that included Romanian dishes.
